Legal and privacy

This page covers two things: who runs nimble.qualls.co and what the law says about the site itself, and what we do with your information. The terms of your actual purchase are separate and longer, and they are the ones that bind the job.

It is written plainly and it is specific. Where we name a company that handles your data, it is a company this system genuinely sends data to. Where we say something is not collected, it is not collected.

1Who we are

nimble.qualls.co is run by Qualls (ABN 70702634887), trading as Qualls, a design practice in New South Wales, Australia. Nimble is its fixed-price logo product.

For anything on this page, or anything at all, email gday@qualls.co. A person reads it.

2What we collect, and why

Only what the job needs. There is no account, no password, and no tracking of you across other websites.

Your brief. Your name, your email address, and everything you type into the brief form: what your business does, who it is for, what you like and do not like. This is the material a designer draws from, so it is the whole point of collecting it.

Your order. Which tier you bought, what it cost, when you paid, when your draft was sent, whether you approved it, and anything you wrote when asking for changes. We keep this because it is the record of the agreement between us, and because clause 8 of the terms turns on the dates in it.

Your emails. The subject line and a copy of what we sent you, so that when you say "your email said X" we can look rather than guess.

Site analytics, only if you say yes. See the cookies section below. If you decline, nothing analytics-related loads at all.

We do not collect your card details. We never see them: payment happens on Square's own checkout page, and what comes back to us is that a payment for your order succeeded.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, your government identifiers, your health information, or anything else in the sensitive-information category under the Privacy Act.

4Who else touches your information

Four companies, each doing one job. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Cloudflare hosts the site, the database your brief is stored in, and any images. Their network is global, so your data is stored and processed outside Australia.

Square takes the payment. You enter your card on their page, not ours. Square is a payments business with its own privacy terms and its own obligations to you.

Resend sends our email. Every message we send you passes through them.

Google provides Tag Manager, and only if you accept cookies. Decline and Google is sent nothing.

Because these providers operate overseas, your personal information is disclosed to recipients outside Australia. We tell you that here rather than burying it, because Australian Privacy Principle 8 requires it and because you should be able to decide with the facts in front of you.

The one other case is the ordinary one: if the law requires us to disclose something, we will.

5Cookies

This site sets one cookie of its own, and it exists only to remember your answer to the cookie question so we stop asking. It contains your choice and nothing else, no identifier.

If you accept, Google Tag Manager loads and may set its own analytics cookies so we can see how many people read the page and which parts they read. If you decline, or if you simply ignore the banner, the tag never loads. That is not a promise about a setting somewhere; the script tag is not written into the page at all.

You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Nothing on your brief, draft or delivery pages carries any tag, whatever you choose.

6How long we keep it

Your order record and your brief we keep while the job runs and afterwards as the record of what was agreed, because a question about a logo can arrive years later and the honest answer needs the brief that produced it.

If you want your information deleted, email us and say so. We will delete what we are able to, and tell you plainly about anything we have to keep: tax law requires us to hold records of the money for a period regardless of what either of us would prefer, and your logo files may sit with your own printer or sign writer where we cannot reach them.

7Seeing it, fixing it, complaining about it

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email gday@qualls.co. We will not charge you for asking and we will come back to you within a reasonable time, usually a few days rather than the thirty the law allows.

If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first. If we cannot sort it out between us, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, and nothing on this page affects that right.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

8Security, honestly stated

We take reasonable steps to protect your information: everything travels over an encrypted connection, the operator side of the system sits behind a login, and access tokens are randomly generated.

What we will not tell you is that your data is perfectly safe, because nobody can truthfully say that about anything on the internet. What we can say is what we are responsible for, and we accept that responsibility: our systems, and sending your link to the address you gave us.

9This website's own content

The words, images, layout and code of this site belong to Qualls. The example logos and mock-ups shown here are our own work made to demonstrate the product, not a client's brand.

Client work shown anywhere on this site is used with permission, and the trade marks in it belong to the businesses that own them.

Please do not copy this site's design or its wording. Linking to it is welcome.

Your logo is a different matter entirely: once it is delivered, it is yours outright. Clause 9 of the terms of purchase sets that out.

10What this site is not

Nothing on this site is legal advice. In particular, we do not search the trade mark register and we do not tell you whether a mark is safe to register or use. Clause 3 of the terms says the same thing, and it matters enough to say twice.

We try to keep everything here accurate and current. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

11Which law applies

This page is governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

Nothing here excludes or limits any right you have that the law says cannot be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law and the Privacy Act 1988.

If we change this page we will change the date at the bottom. For a purchase, the version that binds is the one published when you paid.

Last updated 23 August 2026. The terms of your purchase are separate: see the terms of purchase.
